Putrefied Stew: Conservative media personality Stew Peters falls prey to MSM-style slapstick journalism

Conservative media personality Stew Peters disappointed many members of his audience this week after falling prey to the mainstream media’s signature approach to news coverage: knee-jerk reporting and slapstick journalism.

Despite some recent material on the Stew Peters Network, even Peters’ critics are forced to admit he has published some quality content in the past, and his relentless assault on the COVID-19 house of cards has been consistent.

But the talk show host reacted impulsively when suddenly approached by a “whistleblower” from the renowned civil rights group America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS).

Both AFLDS and its Founder and President Dr. Simone Gold have been on the frontline of the battle against medical tyranny and remain icons of the neo-civil rights movement. Dr. Gold and the 500 doctors at AFLDS have successfully treated countless patients and provided many with access to medical “contraband” such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

This earned Dr. Gold a target on her back by an enraged mainstream media – a target she has worn proudly – and now by Stew Peters.

Putrefied Stew

Peters received an email from Jessica Abu-Hijleh, an AFLDS employee who admitted to having a personal grudge against Dr. Gold. She handed Peters a complaint filed this month by Joey Gilbert, an AFLDS board member who tried seizing control of the organization while Dr. Gold was in prison for misdemeanor trespass at the Capitol on January 6th.

Gilbert, a disgraced boxer and attorney currently facing review by the Nevada State Bar for misconduct, made several accusations in the complaint, the most egregious of which is that Dr. Gold bought herself a $3.6 million Florida property with AFLDS donations.

This became the center of Stew Peters’ show on Tuesday, titled, “AFLDS Whistleblower SPEAKS OUT: Give me the GOLD! Top Front Line Doctor Simone Gold Accused Of Buying Mansion, Luxury Cars With Front Line Money!” During the segment, the chyron read, “Lawsuit accuses Simone Gold of buying 3.6M luxury home with Frontline money.”

Peters fumed throughout the show and his “anonymous” interview with Abu-Hijleh. At one point, Peters tried to suggest that Abu-Hijleh's life was in danger, though the AFLDS employee herself made no such claim. He ranted repeatedly about Dr. Gold’s “$3.6 million home” and claimed she bought it with money from “blue-collar Americans.”

Had Peters bothered to conduct even a cursory investigation or ask for records, he would have found that it was Gilbert, not Dr. Gold, who bought the house; that it is Gilbert’s address, not Dr. Gold’s, listed as the legal address for the property’s purchasing entity; and that it was Gilbert’s, not Dr. Gold’s, idea to buy the investment in the first place so that the organization would have an appreciating asset and a hedge against Bidenflation.

He also would have discovered that the house is both legally listed as a “headquarters” and does, in fact, serve as a headquarters where countless meetings are held and AFLDS employees can stay when they’re in town.

Peters also appeared shocked when Abu-Hijleh, who speaks for herself and one other employee at AFLDS, accused Dr. Gold of “behaving inappropriately” and acting “tyrannical” [sic] while insisting that people “swear allegiance to her.”

But with even a little due diligence Peters would have found out that while Dr. Gold does insist that employees recognize her as their employer and respect the organization’s hierarchy, it was Gilbert who bombarded AFLDS members with demands to report only to him and threatened them with termination if they maintained contact with Dr. Gold. Those who expressed disagreement with Gilbert were removed from team communications.

Peters would have discovered that Gilbert began posting hostile and bad-faith messages about Dr. Gold across social media and organization-wide chats.

Stew Peters - slapstick journalism

Peters might also have discovered that Gilbert exploited Abu-Hijleh's vulnerability and confusion in the wake of her personal falling out with Dr. Gold. On the show, Abu-Hijleh called Dr. Gold a “threat” and promised to “step in and take control” over the organization.

But despite her own employee threatening to overrun the company, Dr. Gold has still not fired Abu-Hijleh, a point lost on the dramatic talk show host.

While angrily shuffling papers at the end of his show, Peters said, “If any of this is untrue, please, we would like to know.”

America’s Frontline News indeed reached out to Peters to let him know, though Peters did not respond if he will include the truth in a future segment.

Among the questions we asked the Stew Peters Network host was if he believes all filed complaints. We sent Peters a copy of a pending lawsuit against President Trump and his family by New York Attorney General Letitia James, and asked Peters if he believes the charges are true, since they are claimed in a lawsuit.

Peters has yet to respond, though many of his followers were not pleased with the segment and are suggesting Peters interview Dr. Gold’s employees:

“Go to the source. Interview the leadership at America's Frontline Doctors. They are reporting this is untrue about Dr. Simone Gold,” wrote one follower on Telegram. “I don't know what you are doing Stew. I trust you, but this doesn't ring true at all, Especially when the victim themselves (AFLDS) are saying it's untrue. Are you running a psyop Stew?"

“I am so confused, you usually are so spot on....I don't get it.”

“Go to America's Frontline Doctors and see what they have to say about it. Wouldn't they know, if they are the ones that got embezzled from?” said another.

“Why is everyone so fast to believe this? Didn’t she just spend some time in prison? For basically speaking out/trespassing? I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt..”

“Lies... Lies... And more Lies... You have been duped Stew.”

“Something seems off about all this. We did get the ivermectin and hcq and put it in our medicine cabinet because of AFLDS just in case we got this convid. Never did, thanks to our lord and saviour.  But I think there may a ploy to destroy her, just a hunch and I could be wrong. And  the interviewee ….was not a good witness.”

“Go to the source, people. Don’t believe everything you hear. Stew Peters do better, stop spreading lies!”

“Anyone can file a lawsuit saying anything, doesn’t make the allegations true. Doesn’t mean they’ll prove it in court. Why did Gilbert list the Naples residence as his office address if he didn’t know about it?”

“Who's trying to destroy who. Gilbert tried to take over AFLDS while she  was imprisoned for giving a speech in the capitol after being ushered in. NV bar doesn't reprimand for no reason.”

“I call bull [BS] on this whistle blower. She sounds like she's reading a script. Stew better be careful with believing everyone.”

“Stew didn't investigate before giving his platform to anonymous accusation?”

“Proof please.”

“I think this story is BS.”

“Trial by media. Ever heard the phrase, ‘Innocent until proven guilty.’ What about Due Process of Law?”
